Some Year 10 students have been asking to see the mark scheme for their upcoming Shakespeare and Poetry essay. Although we are all for transparent learning, the GCSE board is in a period of transition and the marks schemes are not publicly available. However, exemplars are available here:

Take care to read the examiners comments, and pinpoint skills and choices that both gained marks and prevented students from achieving a higher band.
